As the weather warms up, and the leprechauns come out to play, now is the perfect time to plan a St. Patrick’s Day Party! Not only is St. Patrick’s Day a wonderful time to celebrate joy and good blessings with your family and friends, but it’s a day to reflect on all of the luck you’ve had in your life! (And how lucky we are for great coffee!)

Even when life brings you down, we all are so lucky to have the simple things. You’re in good fortune because today, Mr. Coffee Concierge offers you our guide to hosting the best St. Patrick’s Day of the season! And, you know we love a good party!!

Send St. Patrick’s Day Themed Invites

While you can always send out a quick email or text, it’s so much more fun for your guests to receive a themed ticket or card invitation. Even an Evite can be a fun way to show off the personality of your party and get attendees excited. You can find plenty of festive and creative options online.

Pro party tip: door drop chocolate gold coins and the Taste of GoldTM Organo coffee along with your party invites. Everyone, and we mean everyone, loves chocolate and gourmet coffee!

Whip Up Some Festive Treats

A St. Patrick’s Day party should be colorful, with greens and golds decorating a variety of sweets/ Leprechaun cookies, a rainbow cake, ice cream shamrocks, and St. Patrick’s Day popcorn.

For smaller gatherings, you can set the theme with just one dessert or you can bake an entire dessert spread. For really large parties, host a dessert competition to see who can concoct the best themed treat.

Bring the Energy with a Coffee Bar

Desserts are only so delicious without a warm or refreshing beverage to wash it down. If you want your guests to feel incredibly lucky to be attending your party, hire Mr. Coffee Concierge to bring the energy! Our mobile coffee bar services are perfect for a variety of functions.

We’ll take some of the weight off your shoulders as a personal “Irish pub.” We can even craft coffee-cocktails for guests wanting to participate in St. Patrick’s Day drinking festivities!

We’ll craft delicious drinks that perfectly suit all of your St. Patrick’s Day treats!

Pistachio Iced Coffee

1-2 scoops of Pistachio Ice Cream

Splash of sweet creamer

Cold Organo Gourmet Black Coffee

Whipped cream *optional

1.5 ounces Irish Cream Liqueur (like Bailey’s) *optional

Green sprinkles *optional

Place the ice cream scoops in a cup. Drizzle in the creamer and optional liqueur. Fill the cup the rest of the way with refrigerated Organo black coffee and top with whipped cream & sprinkles. Drink and feel lucky!

Create an Irish Tavern

While we will serve many delicious drinks that will satisfy your customers, it may be fun to decorate your own Irish tavern. Purchase some self-adhesive brick wallpaper to mimic a pub’s “snug,” where guests can enjoy a beverage. Collect all of your Guiness pint glasses and serve some Irish beers.

Serve Yummy Irish Food

If you are serving a meal to your guests, try one of these delicious traditional Irish recipes. Your attendees will leave feeling lucky AND full!

  • Beef Stew

  • Shepherd’s Pie

  • Cured Salmon

  • Corned Beef

  • Honey Glazed Carrots & Parsnips

  • Potato Soup

  • Bread Pudding

  • Bacon & Cabbage

  • Full Irish Breakfast

We’re getting hungry just writing this list!

Decorate with DIY Projects

A themed party is a fun time to get crafty and set the energy of your space. You can buy a plastic black Halloween cauldron with gold spray paint to create a pot o’ gold. Fill this with a small houseplant or chocolate coins and use it as a centerpiece for your sweets table.

Set Up a Photo Booth

Party guests often love photo booths, as they are a way to make strong memories that last long into the future. It’s a way to be goofy and fill the room with laughter.

Hang up a green sheet backdrop and fill the background with gold beads, balloons, over-the-top hats, fake beards, and other fun props. If you have a Fujifilm instant camera, you can create an adorable polaroid spread of photos that clients can even take home.

Let Guests Leave with Good Luck

Send guests home with a goodie bag, that perhaps includes the polaroid photos you captured during the party. There are plenty of fun St. Patrick’s Day treats you can place in a bag to make your friends and family smile.

Use little ‘Pot of Gold’ themed bags and fill them with four-leaf clover bracelets, gold coins, or shamrock keychains.  Remember to include your favorite Taste of GoldTM in your goodie bags as they are sure to be a fan favorite. And will certainly, top o’ your morning!
